MegaVoice for AIDS sufferers and those at risk

As you probably know, last year close to 3 million people died from AIDS and nearly 40 million people continue to live infected today. Many humanitarian organizations are attempting to communicate to a large population that does not know how AIDS is transmitted or how to care for those who are infected.

But there is a barrier to progress. Most of these people are illiterate and desperately poor. They have no television, no radio, and no form of acquiring information except by word of mouth. Somehow we need to give oral messages to people in their own language. For many of these people, HIV/AIDS is a shameful subject. It cannot be talked about openly, especially in front of woman and children.

So what can we do? MegaVoice has created a solution. We have created a device with AIDS messages called Vital Voice. It talks to each person in a language they can understand.

These devices are affordable enough to be given out to individuals who can listen to the message in the privacy of their own homes. In addition,  there is no need for electricitybecause they are powered by the light of the sun. This tiny handheld unit can make a profound impact upon the illiterate world and change the way millions of people view AIDS.
